Zoku Shin is a unique Japanese massage technique based on various methods of vibration, kneading and exposure to the active points of the feet and hands.
The history of the creation of massage techniques dates back thousands of years and has its roots in Japanese masters practicing traditional medicine. Precious knowledge and experience were passed down from generation to generation. The modern world of massage technique Zoku Shin became known thirty years ago thanks to the Japanese master Shogo Moshizuki, a hereditary doctor whose family has been practicing traditional Japanese medicine for more than two hundred and fifty years. Shogo Moshizuki improved this method and adapted it to our lifestyle. He opened a school in America and began to teach this art.
Feet and lower leg are constantly subjected to stress. According to research, more than 80% of women suffer from foot diseases. Among men, the figure is slightly lower. The reasons for this are tight and uncomfortable shoes, overweight, high heels. Zoku Shin massage is used in the treatment of many diseases of the foot and lower leg, such as flat feet, calcaneal spur, edema, varicose veins, diseases of blood vessels, joints, etc. It eliminates the swelling of the legs, relieves muscle fatigue, cramps, makes walking easy.
Reflex massage not only acts locally, eliminating existing foot diseases, but also has a deeper effect on the entire body. Thousands of years ago, people noticed that those who walk a lot feel good, and when a person became ill, they tried to put him on his feet as quickly as possible. It was also noticed that all centenarians are usually very mobile people. Now doctors can explain this. According to Eastern medicine, on the feet and palms there are a large number of capillaries, nerve endings and more than sixty biologically active points and zones, which are projections of all internal organs. The peculiarity of the placement of these zones is that on the foot they are located very closely to each other and are clearly demarcated. Therefore, when a person stands up, it immediately activates the work of the whole body. A targeted effect on the reflex points eliminates the existing dysfunction of the internal organs and contributes to their work in a healthy mode. It was also noted that if pain occurs at some point in the foot, this may indicate a beginning illness of the corresponding organ, therefore it is advisable to consult a doctor who is versed in reflexogenic zones in order to identify a developing disease and carry out prophylaxis in time.
In addition to the healing properties, Japanese foot massage harmonizes the whole body as a whole, stimulates blood circulation, improves immunity, removes toxins, has a rejuvenating effect, brings the nervous system in order, tones and stabilizes the emotional state. It should also be noted that during the massage a large amount of endorphins is produced, and this, in turn, is felt as joy, peace and relaxation, which is very important, given our modern lifestyle and rhythm. Massage can be confidently attributed to one of the non-drug effective and enjoyable ways of healing the body. That is why this method has become widely used not only in eastern, but also in western medicine.
The Zoku Shin technique is useful both for practicing massage therapists (experienced and beginners), and for everyone who wants to learn and use this method.
By acting on the reflex zones of the hand and foot, we can harmonize the general condition of the body, relieve fatigue and apply the acquired skills in the rehabilitation therapy of post-traumatic syndromes and various diseases of these parts of the body. The originality of the many kneading and vibration techniques that you will be introduced to during the seminar makes this massage completely unlike the classical massage technique, Thai foot massage or Indian reflexology.
